Safety Guide
Avoid jank sandboxes with this helpful guide!
Know Who’s Running the Platform
Before you sign up or download anything, take a minute to check who made it.
- Do the owners seem legit and experienced?
- Do they have a bad reputation or past drama?
- If people warn you about a someone or something, listen.
Protect Your Accounts
A lot of sandbox sites don’t have great security. Yes, even some with the Trustedbadge. Assume anything you make there
could get hacked.
- Never use details from your important accounts.
- Using a VPN is a good idea on sites you don’t fully trust.
- Don’t sign in with Google, Discord, or other main accounts unless you’re sure.
Be Extra Careful With Downloads
Downloadable clients are the riskiest part of sandbox platforms.
- Only download from official links.
- Scan files with VirusTotal or Triage.
- If a game tells you to disable antivirus, that’s a huge red flag.
- If something feels off, don’t run it.
Don’t Share Personal Info
You don’t know who’s really on the other side of the screen.
- Don’t share your real name, address, phone number, or other personal info like your face.
- Avoid linking personal social media accounts.
- Be careful with DMs asking for “just a little info”.
Golden Rule:
If a sandbox feels too suspicious, you can always leave.
No game is worth risking your safety.
